QUARTERLY DIVIDENDS
The Board of Argo Investments Limited (ASX code: ARG), one of Australia's oldest and largest listed
investment companies, announces that commencing in January, dividends will be paid quarterly, instead
of twice per year.
The Board acknowledges that many shareholders are now seeking more consistent income to meet their
cash flow needs, including utilities and other household bills. Its decision will also ensure that Argo aligns
with the many other investment products now available that distribute quarterly income, increasing
Argo’s attractiveness to prospective shareholders.
The Board also announces its intention to declare four quarterly dividends of 10 cents per share, fully
franked, next year. The intended 40 cents per share full-year dividend will represent another record high
for Argo.
PROPOSED QUARTERLY DIVIDEND SCHEDULE
With a conservative and actively managed investment approach, a strong company structure, and no
debt, Argo is ideally positioned to provide our shareholders with reliable quarterly income.
Argo’s Board continues to focus on ensuring the Company sustainably grows fully franked dividends over
time. Recognising that imputation credits are more valuable in our shareholders' hands than on Argo’s
balance sheet, and given that our franking balance has continued to grow, the Board remains committed
to accelerating the distribution of accumulated franking credits.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is changing?
Historically, Argo has paid dividends twice annually, typically in March (interim) and September (final).
Moving forward, each dividend will be split in two, with half paid earlier and the other half paid later. This
will mean four dividend payments spread across the year.
What do I need to do?
Nothing. Your dividends will be paid in the same way, although you will get four dividend payments, rather
than two, per year.
If you currently receive your dividend statements by post, we recommend you contact our share registry,
BoardRoom, to change to email due to the increased frequency of communications.
This will also ensure that you continue to receive shareholder newsletters regarding results and other
important events, which will no longer be printed in hard copy.
How much can I expect to receive each quarter?
For the first year of quarterly dividends, the Board has announced its intention to pay four dividends of 10
cents per share, fully franked, for the financial year 2027.
This means shareholders can expect to receive a total of 40 cents per share over the year.
When is Argo moving to quarterly dividends?
The first dividend under the quarterly payments schedule will be paid in January 2027. The FY2026 final
dividend declared on 5 August 2026 and to be paid in September 2026 will not be affected.
Going forward, we plan to pay dividends in January, April, July and October of each year.
Will my dividends still be fully franked?
Yes. The quarterly dividends will be fully franked.
What if I am reinvesting my dividends in the DRP or DSSP?
Your participation in the Dividend Reinvestment Plan (DRP) or Dividend Substitution Share Plan (DSSP)
will continue, with four reinvestment points during the year, rather than two.
Why are you changing to quarterly dividends?
With many utilities and other suppliers billing on a quarterly basis, quarterly dividends help shareholders
manage their current payment cycles. In addition, it will improve Argo’s appeal relative to many other
investment products that pay quarterly dividends. Further, it aligns better with the timing of income we
receive in the portfolio.
