Announcement PDF 21 October 2024 Company Announcements ASX Limited 20 Bridge Street SYDNEY NSW 2000 Retirement of Chairman, Russell Higgins AO Appointment of Chairman, Peter Warne Argo Investments (ASX: ARG) announces the retirement of Russell Higgins AO as Chairman and Non-executive Director of the Board, effective from 31 December 2024 and the appointment of current Non-executive Director, Peter Warne to succeed Mr Higgins as its new Chairman, effective from 1 January 2025. Retirement of Russell Higgins AO Mr Higgins has been a member of the Argo Board since 2011, and on 1 July 2018 was appointed Chairman of Argo Investments Limited and its subsidiary company, Argo Service Company Pty Ltd. Mr Higgins has made a substantial contribution to Argo over many years and his commercial acumen, in-depth economic and industry expertise, corporate knowledge and public sector experience will be greatly missed. The Board and staff of Argo have appreciated Mr Higgins’s calm and capable leadership, wise counsel and collegiate support. The Company has delivered significant value to shareholders during his tenure and the Board warmly thanks Mr Higgins for his contribution over 13 years. Appointment of Peter Warne Mr Warne has been a Non-executive Director of Argo since 2022 and is Chair of the Remuneration Committee. He is an experienced company director with extensive knowledge of the financial services and investment banking sectors. He is currently also the Chairman of IPH and his former ASX-listed Board roles include Chairman of Macquarie Group, ALE Property Group and OFX Group, and Non-executive Director of ASX.
